Our process begins with a phone consultation where I get to know you and your family’s story. We’ll talk about your vision, style, and the relationships you’d love to highlight. Whether you want playful candids, elegant posed images, or generational portraits, this is the time to share what matters most. This is also your time to ask questions and ensure we’re the right fit. You’ll leave our call confident and excited for a session designed to honor your family’s unique connection.
1. Phone Consultation
At your design consultation, we’ll thoughtfully plan the details of your session. You’ll have a chance to browse wardrobe options from my client closet, coordinate looks that feel natural and elevated, and decide on styling that represents your family’s personality. I’ll guide you through timing, location choice, and how to prepare, making the entire process stress-free. Every choice is designed to reflect your family’s legacy with beauty and intention.
2. In Person Design Consultation
Your family session is an elevated, joy-filled experience that’s all about celebrating connection. Through a mix of guided direction and natural interaction, I’ll capture your family’s laughter, connection, and unique energy. Whether in my Bay Area studio or on-location, we’ll capture a mix of timeless portraits and candid moments. I’ll gently guide poses that feel natural and effortless, creating artwork that reflects both the love and personality of your family.
3. Your Family Session
At your Gallery Premiere, you’ll experience your portraits in a cinematic slideshow. Together, we’ll select the images that best reflect your family and design artwork that becomes part of your home. From wall art arrangements to heirloom albums, I’ll guide you in creating pieces to turn your home into an art gallery featuring your family's story and love.
4. Your Gallery Premiere
Your finished portraits arrive as heirloom albums and wall art, crafted with museum-quality care. Each piece becomes a part of your family’s story — something your children and grandchildren will cherish. Many families return annually, building a visual legacy that celebrates love year after year.
5. Artwork & Album Delivery
I just finished looking at my gallery and all I can say is I'M BLOWN AWAY!!! Anna captured our family's spirit while also capturing the light in our family portrait session. She's an absolutely magical photographer!!! Not only that, she was super lovely to work with. She helped us find the perfect location that fit our family's style, and once on location she stuck the perfect balance of creating shots while also making us feel comfortable. This is with the added challenge that we have a 3 year old who doesn't know how to look at the camera and a 7 year old who just wants to pose. Everyone in the family looked great, and we'll cherish these photos for decades to come. 11/10, would recommend!
